CHALLENGE

When Stuart Williamson, the owner of Certa Solutions, saw that well known
eco-tourism operator Natures Wonders had purchased a large catamaran to increase the sightseeing services they offer to locals and tourists, he saw it as a wonderful opportunity to showcase our specialist sign wrapping skills.

The Owners of Natures Wonders, the ever enthusiastic Perry and Tracey Reid, had taken on a big project. They wanted the boat in ship shape condition and quickly. It required the complete stripping of all old signage / paint elements, then a complete wrapping of new decals with material that are robust enough to stand up to the tough marine environment.

SOLUTION

We were excited to get stuck in, visiting Perry and Tracey and getting a feel for what they wanted.

A logo and colour scheme were created. Our vast knowledge of materials and their applications helped develop a plan to prepare the boat, then applicate marine grade vinyl suitable for the harbour / sea environment.

There's no doubt it was a big job, a challenge battled head on by our top applicators Bruce and Chris. These craftsmen said their biggest hurdle was the weather.  Wind or rain made application impossible some days….But they completed the task, on time and within budget.

The result is amazing, the vessel looks eye catching and smart and best of all it will go the distance. Perry and his team couldn’t be happier and we are all looking forward to the next out of the box project to come our way.
